An exciting Paper/Packaging company with a thriving team has a job opening. Responsibilities include conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives, and preparing reports for management. The Financial Analyst role is a full-time employment opportunity in the Concord, New Hampshire. Join an innovative team as a key business partner in this excellent opportunity. Ideal candidate must be proficient in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. Your responsibilities in this role - Keep tabs on monthly and quarterly performance through the comparison of actuals versus expectations, ensuring that business partners handle their resources - Understand and be able to explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending - Work on monthly and quarterly financial close processes in collaboration with the Accounting team - Deliver valuable foresight and decision support by enabling effective Business Intelligence (BI) - Develop monthly reports to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required - Gather and oversee forecasting reports - Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, strategic resource allocation and prioritization, and event tracking and execution - Survey performance to date and assess potential opportunities and risks - Work closely with cross functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans - The ideal candidate should be a highly flexible individual who is comfortable with large amounts of information and adept at managing expectations - Drive P L forecasting and Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis

Job Requirements

- Inventory analysis experience - Experience with financial data management processes systems, e.g. Oracle/Hyperion/SAP Business Objects/SFDC/Tableau- BA/BS degree in finance or a related field - Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in inventory, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role) - Excellent verbal, written, and social skills - Excellent problem-solving skills - Familiar with Spreadsheet and ERP system
