Director, Mid-Market Sales

The Director, Mid-Market Sales (DMMS) is focused on generating business from new customers for AdhereHealth, focusing on the mid-market for our products and services. You will be responsible for contacting and qualifying prospects, explaining our products and services, proposing solutions that meet customer needs, and closing new business. An effective DMMS must be an excellent communicator, have superior people skills, and possess a strong work ethic. You must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone and in person as well as dealing with sales objections. The goal of the DMMS is to win new customer contracts for AdhereHealth that will help us build our business.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Effectively build, manage, and close a sales pipeline of qualified prospective customers for AdhereHealth products and services
• Ask questions to understand prospect requirements, purchasing dynamics, and contracting processes
• Demonstrate AdhereHealth products to prospective customers in a way that is focused on their stated business objectives
• Answer detailed questions about a product, our content, or the company
• Schedule and attend sales appointments, on the telephone or in person, with prospective customers
• Learn and be able to demonstrate and explain AdhereHealth products and services
• Enter and upload relevant prospect and sales activity information into Salesforce.com
• Go the extra mile to hit Sales quota and facilitate future sales
• Keep records of sales and note relevant information

Leadership Duties (If Applicable)

Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Sales or Business

Minimum Physical Requirement:
The Director, Mid-Market Sales will perform his or her work in a general office environment using standard office equipment. The following demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
• Bend, twist or stoop on a repetitive and continuous basis
• Stand and remain on feet for extended periods of time
• Operate various business instruments, including computers, printers/scanners/fax machines, requiring manual dexterity
• Sit and concentrate for long periods of time to compute, examine, and interpret data
• Read paperwork and computer monitors, requiring visual acuity

• Proven experience as an inside sales executive or comparable sales role in technology-enabled services, SaaS, health care technology, or equivalent
• Strong and consistent performance at meeting or exceeding sales objectives or quotas
• Familiarity with, or willingness to learn Salesforce.com and embedded sales enablement solutions
• Proven ability to learn quickly about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High ethical standards and customer focus
• Ability to remain cool-tempered and able to handle prospect rejection
• Able to travel occasionally for key prospect visits and conferences
• Able to work flexible hours to accommodate prospects in different time zones
