Business Systems Analyst / Accounting & Finance Systems Administration
Overview:
The Financial Systems Analyst oversees implementing process improvements and the delivery and support for the organization's reconciliation, close, and journal entry tool. This position serves as a partner by engaging with business leaders within the company to anticipate business issues and drive strong decision making through sound systems solution management and application of accounting expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementing identified process improvements for the company's financial/accounting systems related processes
- Responsible for overseeing the deployment, adoption, and optimization of the BlackLine tool, including journal entries, account reconciliations, match sets, and financial close tasks
- Consult with business partners (Enterprise Accounting, Finance, Operations) and the IT team as needed
- Effective management of BlackLine is a responsibility that will enable the company to optimize and mitigate risk in its processes
- Engage with business leaders within the company to anticipate business issues and drive strong decision making through sound BlackLine solution management and application of accounting expertise

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting and/or Finance required
- Minimum 3+ years of Accounting or Finance experience required
- Minimum 2+ years of BlackLine experience preferred, ideally a mix of experience as a system administrator and user
- Background in Month-End Close process optimization
- Proven ability to think "outside the box" to design and develop enhancements and seek out best practices (as needed)
- Ability to influence and collaborate with business partners at all levels
- Partners closely with end-users to gather and document business requirements to enhance systems and processes to drive increased efficiencies.
- Proven ability to deliver high level of customer service
- Excellent organization, problem solving and communication skills
- Motivated self-starter attitude, ability to work independently or in teams as needed
