Must have qualifications/experience:
1. Intermediate Word (mail merges, writing letters, formatting documents, Doc compare)
2. Intermediate Excel (some knowledge of formulas, pivot tables, working with spreadsheets)
3. Outlook Experience especially with calendars
4. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
5. Previous experience in the medical field preferred
Shift Start/End Time: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (with an hour lunch) or 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (with 1/2 hour lunch). Schedule will be finalized with Director upon hire.
Dress Code: Business casual (M-Th) and work casual dress 9 (F), dress code strictly enforced
This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of support duties in a manner which will ensure the proper functioning of the business unit and enhance the productivity and effectiveness of the department. The position works under the specific instruction and direction of one or more higher level staff and may provide administrative support within a multifunctional department. Incumbents are regularly responsible for dealing professionally with confidential information while performing several aspects of assigned work. Specific tasks may be filing, answering phones, maintaining files, scheduling appointments, producing correspondence, spreadsheets, special projects as assigned, presentation and otherwise relieving those supported of minor administrative tasks and business deals. Works under general supervision.
This Position reports to the Director of Contracting and provides support to the Contracting, Credentialing and Health Plan teams led by the VP of Network Management.
