Responsible for the shift to shift operational aspects of all areas in the NICU & Women’s division in collaboration with the division Director, Nurse Managers, and Charge Nurses. Assist in ensuring appropriate staffing/resource consumption as well as a positive and safe patient experience. Facilitates and fosters communication, patient flow, staff support, regulatory compliance, care coordination, transfers, and policy and process development. Coordinates care delivery within the organization (OR, ED, ICU, IT, Pharmacy, Lab, BH, EVS, and Nursing). Identifies process gaps, coordinates change strategies, and assists in implementation of change management.
- 3 years nursing experience in NICU, Post-Partum, and/or Labor & Delivery
- Previous nurse management experience
- Previous HOS or Facilitator experience preferred
- Professional experience that demonstrates a progressive leadership background
- Successful completion of the Nurse Career Battery
- Certification in specialty preferred
- Current certification in Neonatal Resuscitation and Advance Cardiac Life Support preferred
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities
