Core Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales Execution
Drive New Business: Identify, target, and secure new accounts across NVOCC, customs brokerage, 3PL, and domestic freight services.
Client Management: Maintain and grow assigned existing accounts with a focus on long-term relationships and revenue growth.
Proposal & Rate Structuring: Prepare competitive rate proposals and SOPs in collaboration with the operations team for smooth implementation and client onboarding.
Sales Cycle Ownership: Manage full sales lifecycle from initial outreach to deal close, ensuring timely follow-up and professional communication throughout.
2. Trade Lane & Partner Development
Leverage your experience in transpacific trade to support lane-specific growth and strategy.
Collaborate with overseas agents and partners to strengthen two-way business flows and generate mutual sales leads.
Represent the company in partner meetings, trade shows, and joint account discussions when needed.
3. Internal Collaboration & Reporting
Share market intelligence and competitor insights with leadership and cross-functional teams.
Provide monthly updates on sales activity, pipeline progress, and key developments in your region.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure client needs are met and solutions are delivered as promised.
Peripheral Support Duties
Trade Lane Strategy: Assist in developing and enhancing trade lane strategies in alignment with your background and expertise.
Agency Relations: Support the development and strengthening of agency relationships in target regions.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 Years of Sales Experience, with at least 5 years in international sales, ideally focused on transpacific trade lanes.
Proven track record in NVOCC, customs brokerage, 3PL, and/or domestic freight services.
Strong understanding of international shipping, logistics operations, and compliance.
Experience with CRM systems and reporting tools; technology fluency in supply chain platforms is a strong plus.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Able to travel as needed to support clients, trade events, and agency visits.
