**What you'll be doing** **:**
+ **Analysis of improving department processes and procedures**
+ **Development and achievement of performance goals and objectives**
+ **Development of leadership and human relations skills**
+ **Communication and teamwork amongst staff**
+ **Understanding and use of facility and company systems**
+ **Understanding and control of department functions and procedures**
+ **Representing Staples and the facility in a positive, professional manner**
+ **Be the owner/driver of your learnings: job skills, processes, procedures, and relevant job knowledge**
+ **Support the facility**
+ **Be trained in and use: pallet jack, TCM, knife, scanner, computer, calculator, printer, two-way radio, load bar, stretch wrap.**
**What you bring to the table** **:**
+ **Strong oral and written communication skills including listening, follow-up, and coaching**
+ **A sense of urgency required to work in a deadline driven environment**
+ **Ability to use a computer, including basic Word and Excel**
+ **Flexibility to work any shift schedule to complete training**
+ **Initiative to work with minimal instruction and direction**
+ **Positive associate relations skills; ability to direct, coach, support, and delegate and maintain morale**
+ **Demonstrated responsibility, maturity, and leadership ability**
+ **Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving ability**
Physical Working Conditions:
+ **Work in hot environment of approximately 110 degrees F, loading trailers during the summer.**
+ **Work in cold environment of approximately 10 degrees F loading trailers during the winter.**

+ **Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in related field as a 2** **nd** **or 3** **rd** **year student**
