Position: Vascular Technologist II **** Sign-on Bonus Eligibility: $10K with 1 year+ experience & $7,500 New Grad 1 year commitment ****
Location: Evanston Hospital
Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time (40 hrs/wk)
Hours: Hours will be scheduled on the Day shift with rotating hours and weekends
Required Travel: Will require to float to other sites
What you will need:
Education: Graduated from a two (2) year college or from ultrasound program
Certification: Certified Vascular Technician, RVT
Experience: Experience: Experience: 2 years of clinical experience preferred, 1 year accepted and new grads are welcome to apply.
Skills: Tech II must be able to perform vascular imaging independently including arterial venous, and carotid imaging. A good understanding of ultrasound physics is necessary. Good communication skills and computer knowledge recommended
What you will do:
- Perform non-invasive vascular exams independently in accordance with ICAVL standards.
- Serve as a mentor for Vascular Tech I, providing hands on training and supervision.
- Vascular Tech III will work with the manager on additional project such as equipment selection and evaluation, revision of test protocols, quality assurance issues and the ICAVL accreditation
