Analyzing lab testing is pretty complex. We depend on the knowledge and skills of our MT's when it comes to evaluating medical lab tests to determine what's happening with our patients. They are vital to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. Love working in lab and analyzing results? Connect with us today!


  • Conduct chemical analysis of body fluids, including blood, urine, or spinal, to determine presence of normal or abnormal components
  • Collect biological specimens from patients
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain equipment used in quantitative or qualitative analysis
  • Enter data from analysis of medical tests or clinical results into computer for storage



-Baccalaureate degree in biological and physical sciences or a baccalaureate-level clinical laboratory education program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical laboratory Science or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools.

-Must be credentialed by the National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel or The American Society of Clinical Pathologists or The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools, or the American Medical Technologists

-High degree of accuracy is a must

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Ability to work on a team

-Basic computer skills needed

-Ability to view "whole" picture of patient's illness and/or projects

-Problem solving and supervisory skills

-Independent judgment
