Shoring Advisors are highly trained, skilled, and uniquely qualified to provide guidance on efficient engineered system implementation and job site safety.
Each job is different, and the Shoring Advisors interaction changes based on the situation.
You are instrumental in providing solutions for the district and region.What you'll do:Pre-Implementation planning and customer preparedness callsAdvise customer on resource planning and job scheduleOn-job safety advocateJob site conditions and obstruction awarenessPlan of the Day (POD) providing clarity for tasks and rolesImplement the system strictly adhering to the engineered designProvide implementation guidance to safely maximize job work-flow efficiencyDirecting engineered systems components to their proper placement during the install processProvide removal guidance to support ease and minimize product damagePost job equipment staging guidance to maximize return haulingEducate customer on engineered systems through demonstration and trainingEducate UR personnel on equipment defects and proper repair proceduresActive in the Engineered Systems Hubs ensuring product quality and rent ready conditionParticipate on the shoring advisor team to continuously improve processes and the customer experienceTravel planning and responsible expense managementOther duties assigned as neededRequirements:Strong customer service skillsAbility to convince and/or influence customersKnowledge of OSHA and/or Canadian safe working practices and regulatory requirementsStrong technical, analytical, and numeric skillsWorking knowledge of underground construction and trench safety equipmentAble to read job plans, schematics, and diagramsTeamwork oriented and willing to pitch in where neededAble to work independently with little supervision, and under moderately ambiguous circumstances'A valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and the ability to travel 75% of the timeThis position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.Why join us?We don't just ""talk the talk!""
