RESPONSIBILITIES

* Coordination of new product number and SAP material creation
* Close cooperation with customer service, trade compliance, and global teams involved in shipping process
* Interpret and follow safety data sheets (SDS)
* Preparation of shipping documents and labels
* Proper packaging and transportation to further shipping stations
* Update digital systems
* Continuous prioritization of tasks
* Systematically approach troubleshooting
* Work with colleagues to suggest, implement, and communicate improvements to written methods, procedures, or practices
* Proactively communicate with internal customers and provides them with necessary support
* Challenges status quo and suggests alternative solutions in a positive manner
* Effectively communicate/interact with departmental management, customers outside department, and couriers
* May require working overtime if needed
* Will handle a variety of materials and chemicals following SDSs and instructions. Examples: Granules, powders, finished parts, and liquid chemicals.

Environmental, Safety, Health, & Security (ESHS):

* Adhere to all ESHS programs, policies, & procedures
* Assume personal accountability for individual behaviors related to ESHS activities
* Have the appropriate knowledge and tools prior to performing a task
* Complete all required ESHS training and always remain current with applicable learning plans
* Report all injuries to ESHS and supervision within the same shift of the incident occurring
* Inform direct supervision of any ESHS hazards or concerns in the workplace
* Provide feedback and coaching to coworkers on both safe and unsafe behaviors and conditions
* Actively participate in the ESHS management system as directed by supervision

REQUIREMENTS

* Associate degree in materials management, logistics, or relevant field
* 3-5 years of shipping, inventory, supply chain, trade compliance, or related experience
* Experience with handling hazardous raw materials (solids, liquids, and gases) and finished parts
* Demonstrated ability to comply with detailed policies and regulations related to material handling and shipping
* Good mechanical skills
* Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
* Demonstrated ability in method development
* Computer literate in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint, Teams)
* SAP experience is a plus
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Ability to lift 50 lb without assistance
* Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
* Ability to climb stairs
* Ability and/or willingness to become a forklift operator
