Pay
$34-$35 per hour (depending on experience)
Sign-On Bonus

Shift/Clinic Hours
- Clinic is open Monday-Sunday
- Rotating shifts, 4x10s
Center Hours (shifts will vary):
Sunday: 7:00 am – 3:00pm
Monday: 12:00pm -7:00pm
Tuesday: 6:00am -7:00pm
Wednesday: 6:00am-7:00pm
Thursday: 6:00am- 7:00pm
Friday: 6:00am- 6:00pm
Saturday: 7:00am-3:00pm
Qualifications- Required: CO RN license.
- Required: BLS & CPR (Adult & Pediatric)
- Preferred: Plasma knowledge.
- Preferred: Venipuncture skills.
Job Duties
- You will assess donor eligibility, which includes managing informed consent, providing AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, conducting medical history interviews and acceptance checks, performing physical examinations, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE) results.
- You will assess donor reactions occurring at the facility as specified in the SOPs. Follow the relevant SOPs for medical emergencies, including the implementation of the Center Physician's standing orders and arranging donor transport to emergency care facilities.
- Team up with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs (as applicable) when in need of providing unacceptable findings to donors, or guidance concerning medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.
- Champion vaccination Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
- Master the art of incident management. You will evaluate donor reactions at the facility in accordance with the SOPs. Adhere to the SOPs for medical emergencies, which includes executing the Center Physician's standing orders and organizing donor transport to emergency care facilities.
- Potentially become a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations associated with pandemic threats within the local community as indicated by EHS or Medical Affairs.
