Responsible for coordinating patient flow through special procedures, quality assurance and personnel utilization. Qualifications: Education: Graduate of AMA-approved radiography program. Experience: Two years’ clinical experience in radiologic technology. Licensure/certification/registration: ARRT certified; ACLS and CPR certification required Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing; thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment and accessories; performs and assists others with procedures; is able to evaluate images for technical quality and provide information to improve image quality when applicable; considerable written and oral communication skills; strong organizational skills; knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patients’ age; ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his / her age-specific needs. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
