Supporting a key JBT Protein site in our Food Tech segment, the purpose of this role is to provide proactive and ad-hoc HR support to our JBT facility located in Russellville, Arkansas. This position will be responsible for HR administration in several areas including talent acquisition, compensation, interpretation and implementation of company policies, benefits, HR compliance, conflict resolution, employee engagement and development and performance management.
Serve as the main HR point of contact for this location, partnering with leaders as needed by providing HR expertise and coaching advice. Assist employees daily with general HR questions / concerns.
Ensures compliance with laws, governmental regulations and policies related to Human Resources.
Administer and monitor leaves of absence including but not limited to Short and Long Term Disability & FMLA
Communicate, train and administer the JBT performance management process and development planning
Review and make recommendations on compensation for new and existing employees
Lead the sourcing, selecting and onboarding of new talent for all open positions; manage the pre and post hire process. Ensure completion of all new hire paperwork and that all HR Systems are accurately maintained.
Work with other HR partners throughout North America on the design and implementation of key HR initiatives
Continuously review existing HR processes and procedures to assess areas of improvement
- Minimum 3 years of related HR Experience
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees, as well as external suppliers and organizations.
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to execute tasks independently and maintain confidentiality of sensitive data
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- HRIS experience (UltiPro experience a plus)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
- Proficient with MS Office products
