The Director of Digital and Brand Creative will lead a team of omni-channel designers and copywriters to create both internal and external creative that tells the Safelite story.  This role will be responsible for the development and oversight of digital ads, social assets, print collateral, environmental design, presentation development, event design and branding for the internal, B2C and B2B channels.

Essential Activities:

  • Functions as a guardian of the brand, ensuring that anything that includes our brand adheres to our brand standards and consistently expresses our brand voice.
  • Provides design leadership through influence, perspective, communication, confidence and collaboration with stakeholder groups and senior leadership.
  • Assures that all communications are clear and concise and deliver the intended message.
  • Collaboratively works with Brand organization to shape our brand essence, voice, and visual identity with the support of the creative team and brand partners.
  • Works alongside other teams in Marketing to push the creative expression of our brand to new levels of excellence. 
  • Defines and maintain standards for environmental design (stores, signage & offices). 
  • Possesses ability to provide design/copy feedback and leadership while thinking strategically/broadly about business, future state, and opportunities.
  • Leads, mentors, and collaborates in a team-oriented workplace.
  • Bias to coach and provide clear, transparent, and timely feedback.
  • Passion to foster career growth for all individuals on the team.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • 7-10 years of creative experience -- ideally as a creative director. Experience as a copywriter and/or graphic designer is preferred.
  • 5+ yrs. senior creative management experience.
  • A mix of agency and in-house experience is preferred.
  • Someone with animation/video art direction is a plus.
  • Experience leading and managing a wide range/number of projects simultaneously.
  • Strong, well-rounded portfolio that demonstrates a passion for shaping brands and creating meaningful connections with customers.
