The HR Generalist will be the go-to lead for the benefits function for the organization but also be able to assist with other HR projects! Responsibilities:

  • Develop deep knowledge of employee benefits plans and vendors
  • Create administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes
  • Advise employees of their benefit options
  • Design benefit appropriate programs such as insurance, wellness etc.
  • Take steps to ensure that organization complies with applicable government regulations
  • Manage all interactions and negotiations with all our service providers
  • Organize leaves of absence and process claims or requests (medical operations, worker's compensation etc.)
  • Review transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration
  • Maintain professional communication with accounting department and work closely with them regularly
  • Manage enrollments and determine employee eligibility
  • Oversee daily benefits processing
  • Assist with general HR projects as it pertains to talent acquisition, compensation and safety


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications a plus
  • 3+ years of human resources experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence, interact, and build strong relationships at all levels across the organization
  • Organized in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
