Director, Youth and Family Ministries
First Parish Church, Congregational in York, Maine is seeking a Director of Youth and Family Ministries. First Parish Church is an Open and Affirming member of the UCC. We are seeking someone to provide 20 hours per week at a salary of $26-$30 hourly (depending on experience) for 44 weeks annually.
Our ideal candidate will have experience working with children and youth, have basic computer skills and comfort with social media, and have experience working in a church setting.
Duties to include:
• Directing the Church School Program: determining lesson plans, supporting teachers, coordinating Sunday morning activities
• Leading the Middle School and High School Ministries: designing and leading youth groups, develop volunteers, provide service opportunities
• Worship Leadership: providing children’s messages and other tasks to be determined
