AREA SALES MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION:

The AREA SALES Manager is responsible for meeting studios revenue goals and new membership sales targeted by pre-planning with strategic community outreach, in-club lead generation, and securing member referrals.

Area Sales Manager must have the ability to build lasting relationships with prospective and current members in order build a strong ambassadorship and retain members. The Area Sales Manager is rooted in hospitality and upholds our Mission of fueling energetic communal experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of fitness membership sales or retail/service sales experience
  • Confident in generating personal sales and training Sales Associates in sales
  • Ability to manage and drive 4 revenue streams: memberships, package sales, retail, and fees
  • Must be fluent in English, have excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, and via email
  • Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment
  • Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgement
  • Organized, prioritized and proficient in data management
  • Professional, punctual, and reliable
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the public
  • Proficiency with computers and studio software.

DUTIES:

  • Lead generation including grass roots marketing and networking, I.e., drive Membership sales through outside sales and business development efforts, etc. to promote our brand.
  • Implement sales process to schedule prospects into Intro classes
  • Membership sales for your studios
  • Manage staff schedule
  • Supervise Sales Associates
  • Schedule and participate in lead generation and networking events
  • Hire, manage, and train team members
  • Display proficiency in ClubReady
  • Independently make decisions related to high level customer service
  • Collect out-standing membership dues
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studios
  • Enforce StretchLabs policies, procedures, and brand standards
  • Ensure all forms, administrative supplies, and studio supplies are stocked
  • Ensuring studio retail/products are stocked with accurate inventory counts
  • Any other duties as assigned
