Manager, Financial Reporting To $150,0000- plus bonus and benefits My client is a publicly traded energy company with revenues in excess of $200 million. They are looking for a new Manager, Financial Reporting to support the Director (big 4 CPA) Responsibilities include: - ? Coordinate / review quarterly internal controls (SOX) testing and documentation ? Analyze accounting implications of Company transactions, new accounting, reporting and disclosure standards issued by the SEC and FASB, and prepare whitepapers summarizing conclusions. ? Interpretation / implementation of applicable U.S. GAAP and SEC accounting and reporting requirements. ? Assist with the preparation / review of financial statements and footnotes and MD A ? Participate in XBRL tagging of financial statements. ? Revenue recognition ASC 606 ? Support external and internal audit requests and inquiries ? Preparation / review of annual financial statements for the Company?s defined contribution and defined benefit plans. To be considered for this leadership role you should ideally possess a BS degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or MBA, minimum six (6) years relevant experience with external reporting (10K/10Q), Sarbanes Oxley and be able to obtain a US security clearance.
