Compensation: $90,000- $100,000

Your New Job
The Position
The People Service Business Partner executes the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department, including onboarding, employee relations, engagement, retention, benefits, leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. This role is critical in driving employee satisfaction, fostering a collaborative work culture, and ensuring the smooth execution of people-related initiatives.
Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
- Performs day-to-day tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to employee benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale.
- Designs, reviews, delivers, and tracks training for managers to enhance leadership skills, employee engagement, and policy adherence. This may include leadership development, anti-harassment and human resources related training.
- Leveraging engagement survey and turnover metrics, develop and implement strategies to improve employee retention and engagement. Partner with managers to proactively identify turnover risks and drive data driven solutions.
- Collaborate with Shared Service teams to support recruitment and onboarding processes for new hires. Collaborates with department managers to ensure engagement of new hire throughout the on-boarding process.
- Conducts new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Function as a resource for managers on people-related best practices and workforce management strategies.
- Support managers in addressing attendance concerns and implementing corrective action plans when needed. Monitor and manage attendance records, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong understanding of employee relations, retention strategies, and HR best practices.
- Strong background in nonexempt level employee support (construction or telecom industry preferred).
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
- Ability to interpret and use HR metrics to guide decision-making.
- Experience in supporting recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of human resources generalist experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP a plus.
