Job Description

Responsible for maintaining/repairing plant equipment and offices. This includes motors, pumps, valves, pipes, plumbing, chairs/desks, etc. Frequently, the work activities will occur in the hazardous waste process areas. The employee is expected to perform work duties in accordance with the facility’s procedures, Veolia’s policies, and regulated safety/environmental requirements.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:
● High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) is required
● 0-2 years prior related work experience preferred
Certification/Licenses:
● Drivers license required
Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
● Strong team player
● Veolia will be providing all needed training
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
● Ability to wear a respirator and other personal protective equipment as needed
● Ability to use maintenance tools such as drill, wrenches, screw drivers, etc.
● Willingness to complete maintenance and janitorial tasks as needed
● Good Interpersonal and communication skills
● Ability to organize and manage multiple work assignments
● Basic computer skills
