The prime function of this position is to operate a forklift to provide support to the yard through collecting, loading, shipping and receiving materials.

Responsibilities

Forklift Operator

• Operates forklift or other hand truck
• Adheres to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
• Identifies safety hazards in the workplace
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• Valid driver’s license
• 1+ years’ experience operating powered forklifts
• Knowledge of various material-handling equipment
• Possesses a high regard for safety in the workplace
• Able to lift minimum of 50 lbs
• Open availability
• Must be willing to work outdoors and in all weather conditions
