Customer Service Representatives

WHAT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE DOES ON A DAY TO DAY BASIS:

  • Managing telephone calls from customers regarding service problems, questions of competition, and potential for additional sales.
  • Refers customers to appropriate branch personnel for fast and positive action as necessary.
  • Supervises accounts receivable department.
  • Maintains collections at a percentage according to company policy.
  • Reviews all contracts for completeness and first paid invoices.
  • Key member of “two-charge” meetings.
  • Preps customers and sales and service representatives on a daily basis for cash collection.
  • Summarizes and reviews deposits, and prepares banking at the end of each day.
  • Maintains petty cash and records on an accurate basis.
  • Provides support for sales persons.
  • Files contracts, initiates route cards, etc.
  • Provides clerical support for the branch.
  • Administers customer credit in accordance with established company policies for new and current accounts.
  • Dispatches service calls on an on-going basis during the course of the business day making judgment decisions as per Branch Manager regarding personnel who are in a position to most efficiently solve customer service problems.
  • Disperses in-coming and out-going mail on a daily basis.
  • Verifies route bank deposits and prepares deposits for the branch on a daily basis.
  • Other tasks as they arise and are assigned by the branch manager.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE:

  • Someone with potential to be converted
  • Someone who is organized
  • Has good verbal and written communication skills, can multitask, customer service oriented
  • Has admin/office experience, high energy and activity.
  • Independent, work efficiently with no supervision, good with time management and good with customers.
