Title: IS/IT Operations Specialist Location : St Louis MO Type: 12 Month Contract
Description: This position is part of our Product Technology Center (PTC) Support team in R&D Department. R&D is all about innovation, this team helps to support new products, new equipment that goes into Purina's factories, and equipment here at Headquarters for multiple groups. This is a collaborative team environment where multiple specialists work together to support about 200 end users here on site.
Assist with workstation roll-outs, doing imaging, hardware setups and replacements
Office 365 platform troubleshooting, including Outlook, Teams and SharePoint
Windows 10 troubleshooting of tablets, laptops and desktops. This will be done in office, lab and Pilot Plant Environments (on network and off network/vendor provided PC's)
Active Directory Support and troubleshooting, including user accounts, Security groups and group policy
Network support, including Subnets, VLANs, and IP Configurations
Software support, such as providing support for 3rd party/vendor provided software. Must contact vendor support when needed. Will also need to test, document and submit new software for Nestle approval.
Assist with yearly IT asset inventory, and e-disposals
Must be comfortable working in an industrial environment. Our Pilot Plant and labs require proper PPE.
Additional Skills Required:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, this personal will be interacting daily with R&D personnel (Scientists, Engineers, Technicians, etc.) as well as other groups outside of R&D.
Collaborative: this person must be able to demonstrate a "can do" attitude and enthusiasm. Must be adaptable, flexible and dynamic. Ideally would be used to working in diverse and inclusive teams.
Experience with Mobile Device support like Windows Tablets and iOS devices
Microsoft Windows Server knowledge (role and feature configuration/troubleshooting)
Able to follow Nestle standard Routines and create/modify existing standard routines
Associates Degree in IT Field
Preferred Bachelor's Degree in IT Field
2+ years of experience in a hands-on IT role utilizing the above skills.
