McKesson Medical-Surgical is seeking a Supply Chain Project Manager responsible for building plans and milestones that support Procurement objectives, particularly as it supports Mckesson Brands initiatives. This role will represent Materials Management's interests as they collaborate to successfully grow and build the McKesson Brand.

Position Description: Responsible for supporting the development and implementation of Mckesson Brands projects involving cross functional teams providing a single point of contact for the projects across Materials Management. Partners with Materials Management, McKesson Brands Product Development Managers, National Brand Category Managers, Sourcing, and suppliers to successfully expand private label offerings and increase buyside profits. The primary objective of this role is to minimize inventory risk and optimize our inventory positioning as we transition between products/suppliers and/or launch new products. It aims to keep our fill rate whole, avoid excess inventory, and ultimately serve our customers without disruptions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Represent Materials Management's interests in relation to our McKesson Brands projects
* Key liaison to McKesson Brand Product Development, vetting inventory stocking plans for new McKesson Brand product launches
* Direct workflow across various teams to ensure appropriate timeline development, supplier communication and procurement planning
* Track and report out on new McKesson Brand projects and conversions from vendor selection notification through to successful launch
* Manage forecast of new items in Blue Yonder and sell down of targeted item inventory, coordinating with Global and Domestic Procurement teams
* Coordinate and develop resolution with McKesson Brands, Asset Management, and Marketing to address slow/poor performing launch items to reduce obsolescence
* Lead discussions in cross functional meetings to remove obstacles that threaten planned McKesson Brand launch dates

Minimum Requirements: 7+ years supply chain experience

Critical Skills:

* Analytical experience within a supply chain environment
* Knowledge of supply chain and materials management principles
* 7+ years of experience in a fast-paced team environment
* Skilled in ERP system use, preferably JD Edwards, Blue Yonder and/or Syspro
* Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail; ability to utilize knowledge to make recommendations to improve processes and better align towards objectives
* MS Office proficiency including advanced Excel skills, and Access/Toad
* Demonstrated critical thinking skills with ability to translate broader corporate objectives into purchasing decisions
* Team player mentality with strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively and a general sense of urgency
* Ability to work independently with strong drive to continue learning and growing professionally
* Maintain a high level of process improvement, with a consistent attitude to improve the systematic ordering across the multiple platforms within the global network.

Additional Knowledge & Skills:

* Demonstrated creative/innovative thinking and problem-solving skills
* Demonstrated ability to influence in a cross-matrix organization
* Familiar with forecasting models and software
* Proven attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
* Supply chain industry experience
* Ability to make high level decisions and ability to analyze from "big picture" view

Education: 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$84,500 - $140,800
