This position is based at Hebrew Home of Greater Washington, located at 6121 Montrose Road in Rockville, Maryland, the largest nursing home in the mid-Atlantic region. Our long-term care team is dedicated to delivering award-winning quality and person-centered care and promoting the dignity of older adults. Hebrew Home has 475 residents and 500 employees.
SHIFTS & STATUS
The majority of our GNAs work 12-hours across three shifts. We have a variety of Full Time, Part Time and PRN/Casual positions available. Apply to this posting and our recruiter will work with you to find the schedule that fits YOUR schedule.
OUR GERIATRIC NURSING ASSISTANT POSITION
The primary purpose of your GNA role at Hebrew Home is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan and as may be directed by your supervisors. Guidance provided by the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, RNs, and Nurse Managers.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have completed a GNA training course, possess a Geriatric Nursing Assistant certificate and be registered in the State of Maryland or eligible for reciprocity.
GROW YOUR SKILLS We also offer the opportunity for aides to be trained as a Medication Technician, with a schedule that would include a mix of caregiving and distribution of medications to your residents.
