Kelly Services is seeking Assemblers for a growing manufacturing company in Thorofare, NJ. These are temp-hire opportunities, with full medical benefits, including 401k once permanent with the company!! Shift: 7 am - 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday Location: Thorofare, NJ Duration: Temp- Hire Pay rate: $12\hr. Assembler Essential Duties: - Assemble all junction type parts both manually and automated under a vision system or microscope. - Perform visual inspection of welds - Assemble laboratory equipment using hand tools, written instructions, schematics - Performs routine maintenance on machines and equipment. - Completes required paper work such as EI-s, sketches, time sheet etc. - Confers with supervision, area leaders, maintenance or others to resolve welding or assembly issues. - Maintains acceptable levels of production according to established standards - Practices good housekeeping and safety procedures and adheres to all company policies. - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities: - Ability to interpret part numbers, sketches, and written / verbal instructions with limited supervision. - Ability to verify parts using quality measuring devices - Ability to lift to 20 lbs. Assembler Qualifications: - Prior assembly experience within a manufacturing environment - MUST have basic MS Office skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Basic math skills - High School diploma or equivalent - Basic assembly, testing and measuring skills - Experience using hand tools: screwdrivers, nut drivers, crimp tools - Mechanically inclined, troubleshooting, fixing/repairing household items - Cross training, flexibility For immediate consideration, APPLY TODAY @ kellycareernetwork.com!
