Ultrasound Tech, Registry
Job Description
Join the hospital trusted by Chicagos Southland, Ingalls Memorial Hospital, in this role as a Ultrasound Tech.
Under the supervision of the Chief Tech - Ultrasound, performs a variety of technical procedures in theapplication of ultrasonic waves to humans for diagnosis of disease in the department, or with mobileequipment, in other areas of the hospital to both inpatients and outpatients of all ages; assists in teachingstudents; schedules patients and prepares charge slips and other records as required.
Ultrsound Technologist Required Qualifications:
For Ultrasound and Non Invasive Vascular Lab technologists, no license is required; however, proven experience
record and professional organization membership is required.
Ultrasound Technologist - R.D.M.S.
Noninvasive Vascular Technologist same as ultrasound or as registered. R.D.M.S. R.V.T
Must successfully complete and maintain CPR certification

Must comply with Ingalls Memorial Hospital's COVID-19 Vaccination requirement as a condition of employment. If you have already received the vaccination, you must provide proof as part of the pre-employment process. This is in addition to your compliance with the Flu Vaccination requirement as well. Medical and religious exemptions will be considered consistent with applicable law. Lastly, a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check are also required for all employees prior to hire.
