Proclinical is seeking to hire an Associate Director, Strategic Life Science Accounts - Population Health located in New York City or the San Francisco area. This person will be responsible for building a small team as the company successfully grows the number of customer accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • In coordination with commercial leadership, develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for growing key partnership accounts including identifying and closing on new opportunities.
  • Develop long-term relationships with key leaders within a customer's account and be responsible for overall customer satisfaction.
  • Apply knowledge of industry, market landscape, technology, product, and processes to educate prospects and clients on the business value of offerings and services.
  • Serve as the key point of contact between the company and the customer and bring forward experts and capabilities to the customer as appropriate.
  • Develop deep familiarity and conversational fluency with company products and how they can be used to solve an array of use cases.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date account intelligence in SFDC, including regular forecasting of business opportunities to sales and executive leadership.
  • Work closely with Business Development, R&D, Laboratory and Implementation teams to ensure successful onboarding and market launch for new contracts.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Mission-oriented, with a deep passion for improving people's lives through DNA.
  • 8+ years of experience of success as an account management with large pharmaceutical and biotech companies with account sizes of over $10M.
  • Proven track record of growing accounts and hitting revenue targets.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with senior executives with experience working with a broad range of personalities and expertise including scientific expertise.
  • Strong business and scientific acumen to understand a partner's business, org structure, budget process and identify and close new win-win opportunities.
  • Established track record of negotiating multimillion dollar deals, including complex deals that break new ground for new partners.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to compellingly articulate product offering to audiences with varying levels of technical skill and seniority.
  • Willingness to contribute in a variety of ways, even if outside formal responsibilities, combined with the ability to travel up to 35% of the time.
  • Enjoy building and working with teams, and experience in working with cross-functional teams.
  • Technical BA or BS required; PhD, or MD desired; MBA optional
