Job Description

What you will do
Under the direction of the Corporate FSO for Industrial Security Compliance, this position has local responsibility for implementing and managing statutory and regulatory compliance with Government and Industrial Security regulations and standards as guided by the Corporate FSO. Maintains external relations and liaises with Government regulators and agencies, National Defense and Intelligence Community, Industrial Security Associations and Defense Contractor companies. Advises local Management and employees on security and compliance matters pertaining to U.S. security programs and Industrial Security regulations concerning the administration of classified Government contracts, and the safeguarding of Classified and Controlled Unclassified Information or Technology, non-Controlled Government Contract-related Information, and Export Controlled Technical Data.

How you will do it
1. Provide accurate and timely notification to Government regulatory agencies, when statutory reporting requirements exist; and collaborate with regulators.
2. Prepare all necessary local company filing and submissions to fulfill statutory and regulatory requirements, and maintain files and records using SharePoint.
3. Administer U.S. Government security clearance and background investigations, cleared personnel files, JPAS records, security indoctrinations, security briefings and debriefings, foreign travel briefings, and visitor authorization requests. 
4. Prepare executive reports to identify and address compliance issues, measure and monitor customer satisfaction and service quality.
5. Perform self-inspections and compliance assessments of local facility.
6. Investigate security incidents, suspicious contact reports and violations involving Government programs and Industrial Security Compliance regulations.
7. Provide UL audit support and compliance.
8. Provide security education and awareness programs, conduct security briefings, counterintelligence briefings, and coordinate external Government speakers on these subjects.
9. Maintain external relations and liaison with Government regulators, Industrial Security Associations, and the Intelligence and Defense community.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

What we look for
1. Bachelor's degree or 2+ years relevant work experience.
2. Familiarity with Government Security programs and Agency-specific requirements within Department of Defense, Defense Security Service, Department of Justice, State Department, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Energy, and/or the Intelligence Community
3. Understanding of Industrial Security regulations and standards, including familiarity with NISPOM, NISPOMSUP, UL Standard 2050, AAE, DHS, DCID, JAFAN, ICD 700-series, and DOE M.
4. Understanding of Commercial, Federal and Defense contracting requirements, including familiarity with Master Service Agreements, Service Level Agreements, Transition Service Agreements, non-Disclosure Agreements, Intercompany Agreements, Federal Acquisition Regulations, Contract Security requirements, Business registrations, and the use of BINCS, CCR and ISFD.
5. Understanding of Government Information Assurance program requirements relating to the safeguarding of Classified and Controlled Unclassified Information, including familiarity with FISMA, FIPS, FedRAMP, DIACAP, Data Sovereignty restrictions, mobile device and cloud computing, and other Federal agency-specific and Military-specific Information Assurance programs.
6. Ability to compose and edit resulting in clear, concise, well-written documents and email communications.
7. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
8. Good analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to make time-sensitive, sound decisions with minimum supervision.
9. Being well organized, paying attention to details and mental concentration are necessary to accurately perform tasks.
10. Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and Visio.
11. Strong Proficiency in using Microsoft PowerPoint and SharePoint. 
12. Active DoD Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance

1. Understanding of Foreign Ownership Control and Influence (%22FOCI%22) mitigation programs, including Government Security Committees, Special Security Agreements, Electronic Communication Plans, Technology Control Plans, National Interest Determinations and related Governance frameworks. 
2. Experience managing relationships with the Department of Defense, Defense Security Service, U.S. Intelligence Community (e.g. CIA, DIA, NSA, NRO etc.), Department of Energy, Department of State, National Nuclear Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (e.g. FEMA, TSA, USSS etc.), Department of Justice (e.g. FBI, USMS and DEA) and cleared Defense Contractors preferred but not required.
3. Inventory control experience, preferably with government property
4. Experience working with  The Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) system
5. Experience working with Ccure 9000
