Edward-Elmhurst Health includes three hospitals # Edward Hospital, Elmhurst Hospital, and Linden Oaks Behavioral Health # and an extensive ambulatory care network that provides comprehensive healthcare to residents of the west and southwest suburbs of Chicago. ##Linden Oaks is a community based non-for-profit facility that treats conditions such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders and self-injury for adolescents and adults. We are a leading center for the treatment of substance abuse and offer services for each stage of the recovery process, including inpatient and outpatient treatment, residential (for adults) and detoxification. Our comprehensive eating disorders program is nationally known and locally preferred. This position at Linden Oaks provides quality clinical therapeutic services to patient populations and their families/significant others. Serving as a member of a supportive team atmosphere, supporting the organization#s treatment program and philosophy and assuring the deliverance of quality treatment. Required Education, Skills and/or Experience: Master#s Degree in Social Work or a Master#s Degree in a recognized mental health field Knowledge of developmental psychology, disease pathology and clinical needs of assigned population Ability to maintain information which is highly confidential Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical records documentation Ability to demonstrate self-control in volatile or hostile situations Ability to set therapeutic limits and maintain therapeutic distance with clients; maintains therapeutic boundaries with patients during treatment and following discharge# Preferred#Skills and/or Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in a behavioral health setting# Required License and/or Certification: Current State of Illinois licensure with a minimum of three letters which may include LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor), LSW (Licensed Social Worker), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), or LCP (Licensed Clinical Psychologist) unless primary patient population is chemical dependency when a CADC is required Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification within 90 days of hire CADC when primary patient population is chemical dependency
