This role supports organizational utilized payment integrity applications. Primary responsibilities will be to analyze, design, develop, implement and maintain technical solutions SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and T-SQL.

1. Partner Business Analysts and other stakeholders to build and clarify requirements as appropriate.
2. Using SSIS and T-SQL in a SQL Server environment:
3. Utilizes system design expertise to extract data from various sources as appropriate.
4. Transforms data according to business requirements
5. Effectively loads data to various targets as necessary.
6. Develop and migrate to Azure - appropriately leveraging Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Pools, Apache Spark, Synapse, Azure Data Factory/Synapse pipelines as necessary.
7. Builds performant and fault-tolerant solutions.
8. Effectively troubleshoots production data loading issues.
9. Utilizes expert proficiency in SQL development to build and implement process improvements.
10. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
11. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
12. Demonstrate Company's Core Competencies and values held within.
13. Please note due to the exposure of PHI sensitive data -- this role is considered to be a High Risk and privileged Role.

This role works under minimal supervision in completion of the roles day-to-day responsibilities and effectively keeps the needs of external and internal customers as a priority when making decisions and taking action. Work performed within the roles day-to-day tasks will likely often be varied and complex in nature.
Note: This job cannot be performed in Colorado.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):

* Minimum bachelors' degree in Information Technology Data Management along with five (5) years' building Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes using SSIS and working with large datasets utilizing T-SQL
* Experience handling large and complex sets of data from various sources and databases
* Solid grasp of database engineering and design principles
* Hands-on experience in Azure stack (Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks)
* Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable.
* Familiarity with fundamentals of SDLC.
* Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex code.
* Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and team members.
* Expertise in data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) between similar and dissimilar systems using SQL Programming, capable of source transformation from/to flat files, XML and relational system structures.
* Experience with object-oriented software engineering in an enterprise environment using the MS Visual Studio suite of tools.
* Proven analytical skills interpreting and implementing business and functional requirements
* Experience with business intelligence and analytics.
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills across all organizational levels required.
* Demonstrated experience utilizing SDLC methodologies, including waterfall/agile.
* Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable.
* Experience with Kimball Methologies preferred.
* Individual in this position must be able to work in a standard office environment which requires sitting and viewing monitor(s) for extended periods of time, operating standard office equipment such as, but not limited to, a keyboard, copier and telephone.
