Job Description

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will ensure that the financial information provided by Company is consistent, and in conformity with US GAAP accounting rules, US legal requirements and with the procedures in force in the Company. He/She will also work actively towards making in-house control at Company conform to the Company Directives & Recommendations Manual.

This position has dual reporting authority to 1) the President and CEO of Company and 2) functionally to the CFO of the Company. The CFO is responsible for management of the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting functions of the business. The CFO will supervise direct reports who are engaged in general accounting, financial reporting, payroll, billing, accounts payable, contract accounting, inventory and cost accounting, taxes and fixed asset accounting. Additionally, the position is responsible for and liaisons with the Mexico division.

The CFO is accountable for preparation of the annual budget, monthly/quarterly P&L and cash forecasts, Company financial reporting, and management/coordination of all interim and year-end audits and statutory reporting. The CFO must be entrepreneurial, a self- starter and hands-on leader who will be a key member of the senior management team involved in and implementing value added accounting initiatives, systems and other projects.

Experience required

To be the ideal candidate a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or a similar field is required, with minimum 15 years’ working experience with 5 years’ experience in a finance leadership role, with demonstrable growth in a controlled yet successful manner.  Experience in industrial manufacturing environment and international environment will be strongly preferred.

Through creativity and your leadership, you always demonstrate your ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development within the company.

You are recognized for your excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills and for your oversight and direction to team members. You have the ability to partner with the CEO to support the business strategy and provide input and guidance based on financial analysis to achieve strategy.
