If you are an experienced Engineering Stockroom Analyst looking for a position with a leading company, Bartech can help! We are a leading staffing firm and our clients include some over the nation’s biggest companies. Our client has a need for an Engineering Stockroom Analyst. This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Engineering Stockroom Analyst

Job Responsibilities

Your specific duties as an Engineering Stockroom Analyst will include

  • Review, analyze, and evaluate various systems operations. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure timely resolution.
  • Performs advance root cause analysis and develops checklists for typical problems.
  • Provide technical support on a variety of issues.
  • Escalate problems to next level support professionals when necessary.
  • May be required to drive a company car.  A valid driver’s license is required as well as a clean driving record.        
  • Will be required to travel domestically up to 20%  
  • The Engineering Stockroom Data Analyst position is an integral part of Prototype Vehicle Operations and Pilot Builds.
  • The individual will be required to document, track and communicate part issues to ensure timely resolutions.
  • They will obtain quotes, generate NPM numbers as needed, write orders and follow up on deliveries. The position will manage part dispersals and shortages from Engineering, as well as run monthly aging reports to deem any material as potential scrap.
  • They will assist in inventory verification audits on a random basis.
  • The candidate will be responsible for ordering and scheduling deliveries of fuel in abundance of $5M.
  • The Engineering Stockroom Data Analyst will support all continuous improvement activities.
  • Communication between the stockrooms, engineers and management is required on a regular basis; major issue escalation is expected.
  • On-time delivery is a common goal among our team, and the Engineering Stockroom Data Analyst will be essential to providing successful Prototype and Pilot Vehicle builds.

Job Requirements

As an Engineering Stockroom Analyst you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.                                                                                                                     

  • Bachelor’s degree with Automotive or Engineering focus preferred, but not required
  • 1 – 3 Years Working Experience within a Parts Management setting
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Excellent Written and Oral Communication skills
  • Goal Oriented
  • Excellent Written and Oral Communication skills
  • Self-Motivated
  • Organized
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications
