Job Purpose

Provide critical support for the company’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting efforts. Partner with the finance team, as well as cross-functionally, to achieve key financial and operational objectives, support strategic and business decision-making, and measure performance/progress against stated objectives.


Essential Functions

  • Participate in standard financial processes that include month-end closing, quarterly annual forecast, annual operating plan, and management reporting
  • Prepare, review, and report monthly financial results to ensure accuracy, highlighting key variances and trends
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and insights and communicate findings to management
  • Participate in month-end close activities and collaborate with other members of the finance team to streamline and improve financial reporting processes and procedures
  • Partner with cross-functional business leaders to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) with dashboard to measure business performance
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations and other materials for senior management and the Board of Directors
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed
  • Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned


Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • High level of proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial planning and data management software (e.g., SQL, SAP, Hyperion) desired
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong decision-making, project management, planning, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
