Civil Litigation Attorney (Remote)
Job Posting: Litigation Associate Attorney
Position: Litigation Associate Attorney
Location: Remote (If residing in South Carolina) or Charlotte, NC (Must be licensed in both NC & SC)
Licensing: Must hold a South Carolina license; North Carolina license preferred if residing in NC
Experience: 3-5 years minimum in litigation
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in litigation and be licensed to practice in South Carolina. If residing in North Carolina, the candidate must also hold a North Carolina license. This role offers flexibility with remote work options for candidates residing in South Carolina, while those in Charlotte, NC, are required to be licensed in both NC and SC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in civil litigation cases
- Manage all phases of litigation, including research, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal processes
- Conduct arbitration and mediation proceedings
- Provide legal advice and strategies to clients
- Prepare legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
- Attend court hearings and trials
- Collaborate with legal team members and other departments as needed
Qualifications:
- Active license to practice law in South Carolina (mandatory)
- Active license to practice law in North Carolina (preferred if residing in NC)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience
- Strong knowledge of civil litigation, arbitration, and mediation processes
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation:
- Salary will be commensurate with experience
