RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Excel savvy Staff Accountant for a startup-tech client in Bethesda, MD. This is the perfect opportunity if you're looking to transition from public accounting into industry. Key Tasks:- Prepare analyses for balance sheet and income statement reporting
- Assist with the maintenance, implementation, and adherence to internal controls
- Revenue analysis
- Compose journal entries
- Conduct month-end close
- Reconcile and complete close tasks
- Ad-hoc analysis and projects

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- Master's in Accounting or CPA a plus
- 1-3 years of experience in public accounting
- Strong communication skills
- Good with spreadsheets and databases
