Alluvion is currently hiring for an Area Sales Manager for a direct hire opportunity.
Coporate is located in Jacksonville, FL - this will be a remote position

Job Summary                                                                     
This full-time position is responsible for prospecting, presenting, and enrolling area automotive dealers within an assigned sale territory to the suite of digital signage products and services. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new strategic alliances and managing existing ones in the automobile retail and service industry. You will be responsible for driving sales revenue through a combination of first class account management and superior client service with the goal of building long-term, reliable relationships within the automotive industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities     
o   Prospect new business
o   Cold calling with the goal of gaining access to Automotive Dealer Principals and GM's in the assigned geographical area
o   Effectively demonstrate ABN and its products
o   Successfully close business with "A” level decision makers in Automotive or Advertising environments
o   Establish productive, professional relationships with key decision makers in assigned customer accounts
o   Regularly reach and exceed sales quotas
o   Competitive Analysis
o   Client Follow-Up - Follow up on meetings, proposals, adjustments to proposals, gather tailored information, Salesforce data entry
o   Successfully work in an independent role
o   Meet, or exceed,  Sales Standard of Excellence (SOE)
o   Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and oral)
  • Strong cold calling and closing skillset
  • Solid understanding of sales skills and techniques
o   Analytical Problem-Solving & Decision Making – able to research, analyze, identify viable options, draw sound conclusions, and make appropriate recommendations
  • First rate customer service techniques
o   Results Orientated – Proven ability to set and exceed sales targets, develop new business and manage account relationships
o   Customer Service & Relationship Management – ability to provide a high level of service to customer base/market, building relationships and a referral network within a territory
  • Strong work ethic and a team player
  • Positive, resilient and able to adapt quickly and easily in an ever-changing environment
  • Established relationships within auto dealerships
o   Systems & Software – proficient knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft Office software applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), web, email and databases
o   Sales pipeline planning
o   Process and time management

Education and Training                                                
o   High School Diploma, a must
o   Associate's Degree in Marketing, Sales or Business Administration preferred
o   Undergraduate degree, preferred
o   Relevant work experience of 6-8 years with outside automotive sales, a plus
o   5 years of successful sales and marketing experience in the automobile industry, ideal
Physical Demands                                                          
Driving, bending, reaching, sitting, carrying                                           80%
Repetitive motion
The ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Travel Demands                                                              
25% out of market travel. (% higher during nationwide sales initiatives)
Excellent driving record
Valid drivers' license
