Job Description

Job Description As an Entry Level SystemVerilog/UVM FPGA Verification Engineer at BAE Systems, you will help develop a simulation test bench environment to verify complex FPGA designs that include ADC/DAC interfaces, DSP, and high speed SERDES. You will develop detailed verification plans, generate testcases, create verification components, and run simulations. You will debug RTL code using simulation tools (e.g. Questa). You will write perl or python scripts to modify the simulation environment, collect coverage or parse regression results. You will be working with system engineers, RTL designers, and other verification engineers in a fast paced dynamic environment. Typical Education & Experience Typically a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceRequired Skills and Education - Recent college graduates (0-2 years) and upcoming college graduates 2017-2018 with a 3.0 GPA or higher, and one of the following degrees:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Course or work experience in FPGA/ASIC, RTL (VHDL/Verilog)
- Strong interest in simulation testing. Preferred Skills and Education FPGA Simulation
