Position: Segment Applications Engineer – Medical
Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical assistance to the Stratasys commercial team by executing pre-sales and post-sales training courses.
- Produce benchmarks and samples, and provide solutions to customer needs.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to the commercial sales teams by working with prospective customers and channel partners under minimal supervision.
- Expand use case applications with key customers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field /or 6+ years of experience working in a design or manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years of experience working in a design or manufacturing environment.
- 1+ years of experience of CAD/CAM software applications and/or Additive Manufacturing industry experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferred experience with medical manufacturing process requirements, designing and implementing tools and fixtures, performing time and work sequence studies, and recommending adjustments to manufacturing operations.
- Experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Numerical Control (CNC), Injection Molding, and Low-Cost/Fast-Turn Injection Molding industries.
- Strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to independently organize and prioritize multiple duties.
- Project leadership and project management skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to resolve technical issues while maintaining a good working relationship with the sales force, customers, and internal employees.
- Customer-focused attitude with a high sense of urgency and attention to detail when handling customers, process, and machine-related issues.
- Willingness and ability to work as an individual and as a team with multiple departments.
- Experience in the medical device and component industry.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: up to 50%
