Experis is looking for Project Manager - Operations Technology (OT) Role for one of its premium clients.


Location - Remote

Duration - Contract for 9 months with possible extension

Position Summary
This position will assist OT engineers on a variety of assignments related to the deployment of new technologies onto the client's grid:Lead planning and execution of OT construction and Software Application projects
• Generates periodic progress reports outlining costs, timing and overall project status related to the scope of the project. Participates in multi-discipline team meetings, including scheduling and cost outlook. Drives continuous process review and improvement.Position plans, prioritizes and coordinates multiple activities with competing priorities while working in conjunction with client's internal customers, including but not limited to distribution and substation engineering and construction groupsNavigating SharePoint/Microsoft Teams for storing content inputs and outputsCommunicate OT equipment problems to suppliers and work with supplier personnel to identify solutions acceptable to client's Work with product vendors, purchasing, and supply chain planning to ensure client is buying quality products in time for equipment installation
• Investigate and trouble-shoot OT device malfunctions or abnormalities. Prepare work requests to other departments to resolve more complex problems or where work rules require. Monitor the status of problems and follow-up with responsible parties to ensure completion and restoration to normal operation.Other responsibilities as assigned Additional work related may include:

Performing quality inspections on recently completed randomly selected construction jobs. Write summary statements for each of the jobs reviewed including what problems were encountered and where (specifically), and who constructed the job (Internal or Contractor), and if the job was signed off. Trends of problems or significant deviations from construction standards shall be noted for additional field communication and/or training. Minimum Requirements:This position requires a bachelor's degree in Project Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of electric utility experience. Special Requirements:Base level understanding of distribution system and substation design.Knowledge of utility construction standards, preference given to knowledge of regional company standards.Basic computer skills (MS Windows, Word, Outlook, Excel, internet). Effective communication and human relation skills. Detailed knowledge of client's Automation Technology equipment, network, and schemes or the aptitude to learn and understand them thoroughly in a short time. Ability to work as part of a team and collaboratively with other groups as well as customers.Must possess a valid driver's licenseMust have high regard for working safely and take responsibility for ensuring others work safely as well.
