Job Summary:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have a four-year Bachelor’s Degree – graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Graduate Degree, MSN or Masters in a related field preferred
  • 3 – 5 years supervisory and/or administrative experience in hospital Case Management
  • More than 5 years in management experience in acute and population case management preferred
  • Active Registered Nurse licensure in accordance with the Kansas Nurse Licensure Compact required
  • Certified Case Management or Certified Professional Utilization Review preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Authority, accountability and responsibility for length of stay and resource reduction strategies, capitalizes on facility best practices and makes recommendations for process improvements
  • Provides oversight and supervision of the Case Management associates
  • Collaborates with physician and administrative leadership as well as with the interdisciplinary team, coordinates patient care and service to maximize efficient and cost effective use of hospital resources and promotes high quality patient care
