What you will do:
The Strategic Initiative and Business Analyst Manager role reports to the Vice President Operational Excellence and supports the overall management of strategic initiatives for the Global Integrated Supply Chain (GISC) at Johnson Controls. This role works across a wide group of program managers and operational leaders. The role will organize, plan and ensure execution across the major strategic initiatives required to transform the Operations and Engineering business. A second responsibility will be to lead the running and improvement of the manufacturing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through the performance management tool referred to as the e-Scorecard. This tool pulls all performance data in the business into one reporting system to enable the overall performance management process. The role will have daily engagement with the operational and functional leadership across the full business. This is an outstanding mentoring and development role as the individual is exposed to all leaders and activities of the day to day business and improvement methods. How you will do it:
This role will work with the Strategic initiative Project Managers to implement a standard project management approach, ensure resources and funding are defined, available, and that the performance achieves the project objectives. This role will lead the monthly review process with the senior leadership team of GISC to ensure success. Mitigation actions will be implemented within a given month to solve identified concerns.
The role will also lead the e-Scorecard reporting process. This includes support in establishing the annual goals with the functional leaders, working with the functional leaders and the business owners to ensure effective monthly reporting, provide the summarized monthly reporting, solve outstanding concerns and improve performance of the e-Scorecard system. A person with strong data skills and the ability to work with the IT resources to act as the business partner, solve problems and project manage the improvements of the scorecard process will be the most successful candidate
What we look for:
•Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field required. Masters in the same or MBA desired.
•5 Years minimum experience within operations
•Experience working in a global team environment and communicating effectively.
•Experience with data and analytics tools (e.g. Excel, PowerBI, Tableau) Preferred
•Solid understanding of the principles of Supply Chain Management
•Excellent presentation skills (data reporting, packaging and communicating strategies)
