ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions - Prepare daily and month-end bank reconciliation - Analyze underlying data for variances and/or discrepancies - Prepare daily cashflow forecast for management - Analyze financial statements and report on variances to plan - Lead financial and tax audits - Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts - Investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues. Prepare adjustments as needed. - Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures - Other projects as assigned   - QUALIFICATIONS: - Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Knowledge of Statutory accounting principles. - Strong analytical and accounting skills. - Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook. - Intermediate to advanced knowledge of major accounting software packages for both general ledger and statutory accounting.  - Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment. - Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty. - The individual will be expected to work with minimal up-front guidance and take ownership of his / her work product   EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:    Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a related role or equivalent combination of related education and experience.   We are an equal opportunity employer and make hiring decisions based on merit.
