Position Summary:

The Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist assumes responsibility for one or more sections within the laboratory. Performs routine testing as well as overseeing the quality of testing, regulatory compliance, timeliness, and documentation in his area. May supervise other staff. Reports to the Administrative Director of the Laboratory. May require working weekends and holidays to cover Lab department coverage.

Salary Range:

Hourly Rate Minimum $45.08 Midpoint $55.73 Maximum $69.86

Required Qualifications:

Valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist license issued by the state of California Department of Health Services.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hospital laboratory.

Preferred: Demonstrated leadership skills.
