Compensation Project and Reporting - Senior Associate
Job Description:
In this role, you will be innovating Project Management, Reporting and Executive Presentations across all Business Aligned Incentive Compensation (BAIC). As a Project and Reporting Associate, you will manage complex, highly visible, and cross organizational projects by developing a plan, analyzing potential risks/benefits, working with your partners to land on the best solutions, and driving the assigned team through completion.
In addition, this position will be responsible for all BAIC reporting in collaboration with Finance and Technology teams across JPM Chase. You will have the opportunity to create visualizations and executive presentations representing key aspects of the BAIC function and other compensation programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management :
Manage multiple, cross-functional programs or projects that have significant impact on the BAIC and Compensation function.
Define key roles and responsibilities and work with partners and impacted areas to ensure appropriate resources are assigned throughout program/project lifecycle
Develop and manage integrated plans, working effectively at all levels and providing progress communications to stakeholders on a regular basis
Collaboratively develop concrete actionable deliverables, resolve issues/risks, and achieve agreement on scope and delivery milestones
Help us to improve - Establish best practices, innovate approaches to Program and Project Management, building a continuous improvement model
Maintain our control environment by ensuring programs and projects are completed in accordance with all Risk, Control and other relevant firm-wide and Human Resource guidelines
Reporting:
Complete monthly reporting of BAIC incentive expense projections for use in Compensation Committee Board presentations
Complete reporting for BAIC Incentive Administration Operations to assist in monitoring operational efficiencies and trends
Support additional compensation reporting needs using Business Objects and Tableau
Create executive presentations and visualizations of data as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
3 - 5+ years of successful program/project/technology management, consulting, operations, or a combination of these
Advanced expertise and demonstrated usage of PowerPoint, Excel, and Business Objects
Broad delivery experience, including understanding of tools, processes, and best practices
Proven ability to manage multiple efforts, managing resources and addressing issues in a timely manner ensuring least impact on timelines and overall risk; organized, structured work style
Demonstrated initiative and creativity to ensure successful and timely execution
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate and work with senior leaders
Demonstrated experience taking complex and ambiguous information and refining it into meaningful content and clear action plans
Strong analytical, detail oriented, quantitative, and technical skills that enable individuals to leverage data to determine an answer
Flexible with the ability adjust to different tasks daily
Ability to influence, organize, and direct people across various seniorities, teams, and departments
Familiarity with Agile Software development approach / Scrum Master certification a plus
Solid expertise in usage of Jira and Confluence
Preferred experience in Tableau reporting and visualization
PM Certification a plus
