Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform on-site servicing, repair and/or installation of hardware and software throughout assigned region or remotely at Dental offices and Support Centers
Assist customers to diagnose problems and provide resolutions for technical and service issues including end-user local-area network access problems, e-mail, Internet, and network or local printer problems.
Provide one-on-one end-user problem resolution with remote desktop tools, telephone, and in-person.
Diagnose and resolve desktop and laptop hardware issues.
Under minimal supervision, install new IT and related equipment for new offices.
Help coordinate timely support and repair on various IT equipment covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements.
Manage help tickets assigned, ensuring maximum issue resolution in minimum time with the end user the main focus.
Perform multiple, technical tasks with a need to routinely upgrade skills to meet changing job conditions.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Servers, MAC OS, Microsoft Office, and theories of network systems.
Possess a valid driver's license
Reliable vehicle as travel is required for this job.
Previous Field work experience.
Experience with cabling, network closet support.
Able to climb a ladder to get to a wireless access points.
Device imaging processes.

DESIRABLE:
MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional), A+, or Network + Certification.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, meeting deadlines and schedules, setting priorities, working as part of a team, work independently and adapting to changing work priorities.
Ability to draw valid conclusions, apply sound judgment in making decisions, and to make decisions under pressure.
Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers, staff, regulatory agencies, vendors, and other members of the business community.
Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
Ability to demonstrate adaptability by ability to adapt to changes, delays, unexpected situations, and effectively manage competing demands.
Ability to prioritize tasks and projects with limited direction, while understanding and contributing to the success of the assigned region(s).
Maintain an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies.
Ensure compliance with Company policies, as well as State, Federal and other regulatory bodies.
