Overview

As the Senior Manager, Enterprise Architecture you will be responsible for developing and deploying integrated solutions across the enterprise. Works within the Application team to determine how requirements from business process owners can best be integrated into the existing enterprise architecture. Provides design recommendations based on business objectives and IT strategy. Assists in coordinating analysis and application development initiatives and meeting scheduled milestones to ensure project objectives are met in a timely manner.

The Senior Manager, Enterprise Architecture is also responsible for researching, collecting and disseminating information on emerging technologies and their relation to existing enterprise solutions. Capable of understanding and coordinating complex integration projects spanning multiple disciplines within the company. Possesses knowledge of Enterprise Application Architecture methodologies, programming concepts, operating systems, databases/warehouses and middleware/ messaging approaches. Assists and/or coordinates maintenance and upgrades of existing enterprise applications.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment while maintaining superior customer service
  • Plan, design and develop software solutions to meet customer needs by translating business requirements into system designs
  • Ability to manage and deliver large complex projects on time and on budget
  • Analyze current applications’ effectiveness and develop strategies for improvement
  • Prepare technical design diagrams, system schematics, installation instructions, and data conversion requirements
  • Identify emerging technology trends, especially in the area of SaaS and cloud computing, and ensure the company is leveraging them when appropriate to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and drive value 
  • Interface with business process owners and developers to provide guidance and solution alternatives
  • Partner with business leaders to create robust solution road-maps that are integrated with architecture and operations
  • Monitor software development policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance
  • Test operations of completed solutions including integrations/components
  • Implement and champion a robust professional development program, and continuously up-skill team members to keep them current.
  • Evaluate the performance of team members and provide high-impact coaching that enables them to achieve individual, departmental and enterprise goals.
  • Work closely with Developer and Application Analysts in technical complexities of their assigned projects
  • Work with the Senior Director of Infrastructure to ensure hardware, network, and server impacts are coordinated for project delivery
  • Evaluate new applications, systems software, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise
  • Drive the cultural changes necessary to enable a continuous improvement mentality
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in the testing of new software or modified applications
  • Flexible and willing to work on various applications, solutions and projects
  • Ability to adjust work schedules due to project demands or unplanned system issues


Qualifications

Required skills:

  • Strong customer service focus
  • Overall understanding of the following technologies: Windows OS, Citrix, Linux, Unix, Anti-Virus (Trend), End Point Management, VMWare, Domain Controller, Active Directory, MS Exchange, NetScaler, VEEAM, DNS, ADFS, LDAP, DHCP, GPO’s, File Shares, Certificates, Spam Filtering, Vulnerability, Security, Patch Management and System Monitoring tools
  • Experience managing and supporting WYSE devices, printer configurations, VSI-Fax and LAN-Fax
  • Experience managing and supporting Citrix Mobile Device Management (MDM)
  • Excellent knowledge of Citrix Gateway (VPN), Citrix Receiver and Terminal Server environment
  • Familiar with Cloud based infrastructure and solutions (AWS)
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts and risks to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to understand business needs, propose solutions, gain concurrence and influence change
  • Ability to drive execution of aggressive goals through effective project management, prioritization and follow through
  • Ability to work effectively in a professional manner with technology staff, business stakeholders, end users, management and others outside the organization
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Utilize Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) concepts and other IT best practices
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • Experience with standard architecture methodologies
  • 10+ years of experience in IT architecture or comparable IT role
