Wabash National is seeking an experienced professional to develop decision-making analytics and assist in driving finance and mergers & acquisitions initiatives. This is a significant role with high visibility and executive interface. The ideal candidate is a high-performing business professional with strong communication, financial analysis, and strategic thinking skills; a self-starter who is deadline-driven, detail-oriented, and thrives in collaborative and fast-paced environments.
Projects include assisting with research and analysis of financial performance, financial modeling, potential acquisitions, industry dynamics and other ad hoc projects. In this role, you will work on complex problems; gain insight into the strategic issues which are forefront in the minds of the executive leadership team; be exposed to senior-level decision-making; and have the opportunity to establish relationships with the leadership team across the entire organization.
The candidate must possess the skills to lead and facilitate efforts across strategic business units and external stakeholders to align with the organizations goals and objectives.
The candidate must excel in all areas of project management, business analysis, financial modeling, problem-solving, executive communication, and consensus building.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to become future leaders and be successful in an unstructured, team-oriented environment.
Primary responsibilities include:
Leading research and analysis of target markets and companies, including working with internal and external resources.
Financial modeling and analysis.
Financial planning and forecasting.
Minimum 3 years' experience managing business analysis projects.
Demonstrated track record of analytical success and project leadership.
Distinctive problem-solving and analytic skills, combined with superior business judgment.
Acumen in finance is required.
Excellent communicator - comfortable and experienced at senior executive levels.
Strong project management skills, meeting milestones, and deliverables, understands the project management lifecycle.
Experience in finance, corporate strategy, and/or corporate development, with a focus on analysis and project management.
