Pre-Suit Attorney

Derived Salary: $83K - $85K/Year

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking a lawyer to serve as a Pre-Suit Attorney in our office in Jacksonville, Florida.

Responsibilities

  1. Day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work
  2. Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval
  3. Guide clients through the case process
  4. Drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents
  5. Complete TD approval for liability issues
  6. Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages
  7. Manage the release approval process
  8. Manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers
  9. Focus on personal injury cases, primarily automotive
  10. Drive compliance and KPIs amongst team
  11. EUOs, PIP Statements, recorded statements

Requirements

  1. Law degree from a fully accredited law school
  2. An active member in good standing with the FL State Bar Association
  3. 2+ years of personal injury experience
  4. Ability to manage high volume of pre-lit cases
  5. Excellent client service and communication skills
  6. Strong leadership skills
  7. Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
  8. Superior writing and oral advocacy skills

This role reports to the Pre-Suit Operations Manager.
